Treowen Stars AFC is located at Bush Park, Treowen (NP11 4RX). Please ensure you follow the correct approach routes below, particularly on matchdays. when parking please respect our neighbours at all times

🔵 From A472 (Pontllanfraith / Pentwynmawr)

  • Leave the A472 at a4048 turning for pontllanfraith
  • take the 3rd exit on the roundabout towards high st
  • Continue on high street for 1 mile
  • Turn left on to new bryngwyn road
  • turn left onto homeleigh
  • at the t junction turn left on to maes yr haf lane
  • bush park is 200 yards on your right hand side

🔵 From Newport (via A467)

  • Follow the A467 northbound towards Newbridge
  • take the 2nd exit towards bridge street
  • Enter Bridge Street, follow the road until you enter high street 
  • Continue on high street for 1 mile
  • turn right on to new bryngwyn road
  • turn left on to Homeleigh
  • at the t junction turn left on to maes yr haf lane
  • bush park is 200 yards on your right hand side

🔵 From Pontypool / Crumlin

  • Travel towards Crumlin via Pontypool
  • turn left onto kendon road
  • immediatly turn left on to Main Street
  • turn right at mining school hill 
  • Follow the road through to park road 
  • Turn right to  Homeleigh
  • at the t junction turn left on to maes yr haf lane
  • bush park is 200 yards on your right hand side

🔵 From Blackwood (B4251)

  • Take the B4521 from chartist Bridge.
  • Travel along the B4251 through to croespenmaen
  • Turn right at the lights on to kendon road
  • Turn left at next lights onto Melin Place
  • Follow the road until you enter maes yr haf lane
  • bush park is 750 yards down the lane on your left hand side

by bus

The nearest bus stop to Treowen Stars AFC is Elidyr Crescent, Treowen, located approximately 8 minutes walk from Bush Park.

This is the closest and most convenient stop for accessing the ground.

🔵 Getting to the Ground from Elidyr Crescent

 

  • Exit the bus at Elidyr Crescent

  • Walk down the hill taking the second turning on the right onto Pen-y-Lan Terrace

  • Continue onto Pen-y-Lan terrace until you reach Uplands

  • Walk along Uplands until your reach the crossroads and turn right

  • Bush Park is a short uphill walk on your right hand side

  • The ground is located uphill from the bus stop

  • Please allow a few extra minutes for the walk

  • Bus routes and times may vary — check before travelling

by train

The nearest train station to the ground is Newbridge train station.

The train station is approximately a 20 minute walk to the ground but please not there is a quite a steep incline to get there.

We reccomend you follow the bus route once at the train station
