U15 Girls crowned league champions
Treowen Stars U15 Girls have been crowned league champions after an outstanding campaign, winning all 14 of their matches so far and securing the title with four games still to play.
It has been a consistent and impressive season from the group, who have shown real quality and maturity throughout.
In front of goal, Alexandra Carpe leads the way with 24 goals, while Isabelle Thomas has added 20, both playing key roles in the team’s success.
This latest achievement continues a remarkable journey for the squad. From their first season of competitive football at Under 12 level, where they won the South Wales Girls League, the group have continued to develop year on year.
Since entering the Gwent League, the team have secured back-to-back doubles at Under 13 and Under 14 level, and now add the Under 15 league title following another unbeaten season.
The focus now turns to the Gwent FA Cup Final on April 26th, where the squad have the opportunity to secure a third consecutive double.
