Girls section – Volunteer of the year

Treowen Stars is built on far more than what happens on the pitch. Behind every match, training session, event and achievement is an incredible team of volunteers whose dedication, generosity and passion make our club possible. They give their time freely, often behind the scenes and without recognition, to create opportunities for hundreds of players and support our wider community.

The Volunteer of the Year Award was introduced to honour individuals whose commitment has gone above and beyond over the course of the season. While this award recognises some exceptional volunteers, it also represents our sincere appreciation for every person who gives their time to Treowen Stars. Their hard work, loyalty and selfless contributions are the foundation of our club, and this award stands as a celebration of the volunteer spirit that continues to drive us forward. Claire Lacey-Coles

Claire organised a fantastic joint tour for three age groups which was a huge success. Claire organises everything across multiple age groups from training, Matches, fundraising, team bonding, kits, player & volunteer recruitment just to name a few.

We are extremely proud to have claire as part of of our club and she epitomises what our club is about. What claire does for her own age groups but also the wider club is outstanding and we are thrilled she has received the recogition from everything that she does.
