Gameson represents the Cymru Regions squad
Over the last week Tom Gameson has represented ” Tim Rhanbarthol y De Cymru” in the regions cup in bosnia.
a Squad of 18 players from South wales made the trip to bosnia where the faced sides from Macedonia, Armenia and the hosts bosnia. Gameson was only 1 of 3 players who played 90 minutes in all 3 games.
The first game was against the macedonian side where Cymru ran out comfortable 7-0 winners. gameson assisted the 4th goal and was unlucky not to get himself on the scoresheet with his goal being disallowed.
The second game saw another comfortable victory against Armenia, 6-0
The final game was a showdown against the hosts with a winner take all scenario after they also won both their first 2 games. Unfortunately it was the bosnian side who we victorious on the day, winning 4-0 and moving on to the next stage of the competition.
As a club we are immensly proud to have a player represent us at this level, well done Gamo youve done the club proud!
