The Journey So Far
It’s been a demanding route to the final.
The trip to Buckley in the semi-final was always going to be a tough test, not just because of the quality of the opposition but the long journey as well. To go there, take the game all the way to penalties and come through it says a lot about the group.
The quarter-final against Llantwit was another difficult game. They are a strong side and proved it, especially in the second half, but the Stars did the job early and saw it through.
The earlier rounds were just as challenging, with away wins at Caerau Ely and Ammanford, both sides who have been competing at the top end of the league all season.
Now the focus turns to the final, and the biggest test yet. Airbus UK Broughton have been one of the standout sides this season and arrive as Cymru North champions, making them a serious challenge.
The Stars have come through everything so far but they will know they’ll need to be at their very best one more time.
